Today the Jury of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) announced the winners of 26 awards for the 2024 edition. Jury President Remy Franck says: «This year’s ICMA awards were chosen from a nomination list comprising 375 carefully selected productions and a wide range of artists and labels. The winner list comprises many renowned as well as lesser-known and young musicians and no less than 15 international labels! We include again the ICMA Classeek Award which is organized in collaboration with the digital platform Classeek and continue our long lasting cooperation with the International Music Academy Liechtenstein, so that together with the Young Artist Award, we are able to promote three young and highly promising talents. The main ideas of ICMA are to support musical performance and creativity at the highest level and promote authentic voices of classical music. This year, the award list has blossomed again into a vibrant tapestry of the musical world, weaving its way deep into the heart of the musical landscape. We believe that the 2024 awards will bring benefits to contestants and their producers, and also provide them with an international platform to present their talents. With over 3 million people who saw our Gala Concerts from Luxembourg and Wroclaw on the Deutsche Welle’s YouTube Channel, we have reached a worldwide audience and thus allow the performers to be part of an incredibly large international stage. »
