The Walther von der Vogelweide Preis Foundation honors the musician and violinist Julian Kainrath with the 2024 Youth Prize. Born in Merano in 2005, the violinist received the Discovery Award of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) in 2022.
The Walther von der Vogelweide Prize was established in 1960 by the Kulturwerk für Südtirol in Munich to recognize artistic and scientific achievements in South Tyrol.
