At the Festival BA Classica in Busto Arsizio (40 kilometers north-west from Milan) ICMA Discovery Award winner Julian Kainrath will give a recital with Canadian pianist Louis Lortie. The ICMA Gala Concert on 17 June 2021 in Vaduz has now been published on a private, non-commercial SACD by Ars Produktion. Austrian violinist Yury Revich, 30, who was Young Artist of the Year at the International Classical Music Awards 2015 will play the world premiere of his first own Violin Concerto. Titled Awakening, the work is inspired by the sounds and rhythms of nature of our planet and cinematic soundscapes.

At the ICMA Gala Concert in Luxembourg, Luxembourg conductor Ivan Boumans will premiere a piece by his colleague Sebastian Androne-Nakanishi, Lan Huahua – The Dark Blue Flower. Boumans was Androne’s predecessor for this Award, and his own piece, Organic Beats, was premiered in 2021 by the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein.
