After their performances at the ICMA Gala Concerts in 2012 and 2014, two double ICMA Award winners were reunited this weekend in Saarbrücken, Krzysztof Penderecki and pianist Joseph Moog. After the world premiere of Penderecki’s Trumpet Concertino with Gabor Boldoczki, Joseph Moog was the soloist in Karol Szymanowski’s ‘Symphonie concertante’.

Swiss conductor Charles Dutoit (Lifetime Achievement Award 2014) is the guest of the Saturday afternoon concert series of the Dutch Radio Avro, today (2 May) at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw).
