Eva Gevorgyan, ICMA’s Discovery Award winner 2019, is at her young age already a busy concert pianist. In November she played a recital at Alzenau Musiktage, Germany. In October she had recitals in Boston, Cleveland and Canton/Ohio where she also performed with the Canton Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gerhardt Zimmermann. In summer she played recitals in Italy (Como and San Daniele) and Poland (Duszniki Chopin International Piano Festival). At the Verbier Festival (Switzerland) she was student-in-residence.
Upcoming performances are scheduled for Sakhalin where Eva will play concertos by Grieg and Saint-Saëns. In Tashkent she will play with the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan (20/12). Then she will have two concerts at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg: on 23 December she will perform Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini with the Mariinsky Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev, and the next day she will play a solo recital. In January she is scheduled to play in Eilat (Israel) and in Munich at the Hercules Hall.
