The German Music Industry Association has finally abolished its ECHO Awards after the world-wide indignation about the award given to rap duo Kollegah and Farid Bang, who used anti-semitic, misogynist, homophobe lyrics, contemptuous of human dignity. All Winners ICMA Gala Concert in Katowice

The NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice

The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice is performing ICMA’s Gala Concert 2018 tomorrow, 6 April at the NOSPR Concert Hall in Katowice. The concert will be conducted by NOSPR Music Director Alexander Liebreich, as well as by Manfred Honeck, Music Director of the Pittsburgh Symphony and ICMA Artist of the Year. The Orchestra, « ranks among the leading European ensembles », the Jury says, and is a winner of an ICMA Special Achievement Award.
