At the invitation of the Festival Next Generation, the Jury of the International Classical Music Awards will have its annual General Assembly, February 12-15, at one of Europe’s Leading Wellbeing & Medical Health Resorts, the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.
The history of the site began in 1242 with the discovery of a thermal source in the wild and romantic Tamina gorge. The therapeutic and healing effects of Bad Ragaz’s thermal water are still today the foundation upon which the Wellbeing & Medical Health Resort is built. In the heart of the Alps and in five-star surroundings, guests can enjoy ultimate relaxation, medical treatments of the highest order and a broad and diverse range of sports, cuisine and cultural activities. The rich and varied combination of luxury hotels, gastronomy, health, wellbeing, business and golf is unique. The resort consists of two five-star establishments, the Grand Hotel Quellenhof & Spa Suites and the Grand Hotel Hof Ragaz.
Thanks to its extensive cultural program, the Grand Resort offers the opportunity to recharge the intellectual batteries. With exhibitions, readings, talks, bar music and concerts, there is sure to be something for everyone. At the annual classical music festivals Next Generation in the spring and MusicConnects in the autumn, the resort presents the elite of up-and-coming international artists who will be sure to fill the world’s major concert halls in the next two to three years.
