Julian Kainrath to play chamber music with Louis Lortie

At the Festival BA Classica in Busto Arsizio (40 kilometers north-west from Milan)  ICMA Discovery Award winner Julian Kainrath will give a recital with Canadian pianist Louis Lortie. On 3 May, they will perform Beethoven’s Fourth Violin Sonata, Brahms’ Scherzo F.A.E and the Third Sonata as well as Debussy’s Violin Sonata.

Russian broadcaster Radio Orpheus suspended as ICMA member

With the deepest concern over the war initiated by the Russian Federation against Ukraine and considering the fact that ICMA Jury member Radio Orpheus, Moscow, is a broadcaster operated and owned by the Russian State and no longer a member of the European Broadcasting Union, the Jury of the International Classical Music Awards has suspended the membership of Radio Orpheus.
