The Jury of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) held its General Assembly this morning (31/03) at the Bacharchiv Leipzig. The Jury deliberated on an agenda comprising last preparations for the upcoming Award Ceremony and Gala Concert tomorrow at Leipzig’s Gewandhaus, discussions about the next Special Awards and the Award Ceremonies of the next years. Leipzig’s Gewandhaus Orchestra is performing ICMA’s Gala Concert 2017 next Saturday, 1 April at the Gewandhaus. The concert will be conducted by Francesco Angelico. Chief Conductor of the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck as well as the Tyrolean Theatre, the Sicily born conductor now leads this ensemble in his fourth and at the same time last season. 25 year old ICMA Young Artist Yury Revich has joined the roster of the Keynote Artist Management in London. He was Young Artist of the Year of the International Classical Music Awards in 2015. Key Note is a rather small agency with interesting projects and artists like Hélène Grimaud, Nicolas Altstaedt, Teodor Currentzis and Filippo Gorini.
